Why Cumming families choose Rhetrix

Students from Lambert High School, West Forsyth High School, and South Forsyth High School represent some of the most academically driven students in the Atlanta metro. Forsyth County schools consistently rank among Georgia's best. What they don't teach is the communication presence that determines what happens in a college interview, a scholarship competition, or a first job.

Cumming families drive about 30 minutes to summer camp at Woodstock Community Church. The consistent feedback from Forsyth County families is that there is nothing comparable locally — no program in Forsyth County built specifically for grades 6 through 12 around professional communication coaching and individual feedback.

Rhetrix cohorts are capped at 14 to 18 students. Forsyth County families tend to find Rhetrix because they've looked for communication coaching locally and come up empty. When they find it, they enroll multiple students across multiple programs.

Common questions from Cumming families

What Cumming parents ask us most.

How far is the drive from Cumming to Rhetrix sessions?

Summer day camp at Woodstock Community Church is about 30 minutes from most Cumming addresses via GA-400 and I-575. Fall and spring cohorts meet at North Fulton partner schools, which are typically closer, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Do you have students from Lambert or West Forsyth High School?

Yes. Students from Lambert, West Forsyth, and South Forsyth high schools all attend. We group students by track, based on grade level, not by school, so your student will be alongside peers from across the region at the same developmental stage.

Is there a public speaking program like Rhetrix closer to Cumming?

Not that we know of. Forsyth County has excellent academics but no equivalent program built specifically for grades 6 through 12 around professional communication coaching, small cohorts, and individual feedback every session. Rhetrix is one of the only programs in the region that coaches authentic presence rather than performed confidence.

Why do Forsyth County families drive to Rhetrix?

Because there is nothing comparable locally. Forsyth County families consistently say they spent time looking for a program like this closer to home and couldn't find one. The drive to Woodstock is 30 minutes — and the communication skills students build last a lifetime.
