Speak confidently for
a class presentation

Most programs teach students to perform. Rhetrix tells them what they're actually doing wrong, then builds the specific muscle to fix it. The skill that determines which rooms they walk into, and what happens once they get there.

Your first 1:1 session is $99 virtual or $125 in person at Woodstock. Then build a plan that fits your schedule; the rest of it bills 48 hours after that session unless you cancel.

“I never want to public speak again. I'm not a good public speaker. And that seed gets planted.”

That is the moment Noah built Rhetrix to prevent. He joined host Joshua Kornitsky for 46 minutes on why students get graded on speaking long before anyone teaches them how, and what parents can do about it at the dinner table tonight.

What the research says

The gap nobody's telling you about.

Public speaking decides more of what happens after graduation than almost any class on the transcript — and it's the one most parents assume school covers. It doesn't. Confidence is a trainable behavior: live reps, real-time feedback, specific fixes.

3.1×
more likely to graduate high school — the edge students in school speech and debate programs hold over their peers, and it is biggest for the kids most at risk.

Communication tops LinkedIn's list of the most in-demand skills employers are hiring for — ahead of every technical skill on the list.
50%
Warren Buffett's estimate of how much public speaking skills raise your professional value. The one diploma displayed in his office is his public speaking certificate.
64%
of employers call communication “very important” in a new hire — but only 34% think recent graduates are actually ready for it.

What every program includes

What every student works toward.

Not “more confidence” — specific skills, tools, and moments you can point to.

01

A live showcase every program

Every program ends with a real presentation in front of a real audience. Parents are invited. You see the full arc of what was built.

02

Individual coaching, every session

Each student gets direct feedback on their own patterns, their voice, and their progress — every session.

03

The REAL framework

Relatable. Engaging. Authentic. Linked. A repeatable structure students can draw on in any high-stakes room.

04

Both rooms: physical and virtual

Every student practices both in-person and on-camera — the two formats that matter most right now.

From the Founder

Why we built this.

“I spent a decade watching smart, capable people fall apart in rooms where they needed to be heard, college interviews, presentations, leadership moments. Nobody ever taught them the actual mechanics. That gap starts at age eleven, not thirty. I started Rhetrix to close it before it costs students the opportunities they've already earned.”

Rhetrix doesn't sugarcoat feedback in the room. Students get direct, specific coaching every session, not “great job” and a participation ribbon. If that's the kind of program you're looking for, reach out. We answer every question before you commit a dollar.

  • One habit I coach students on constantly is building a memory bank of stories.

One habit I coach students on constantly is building a memory bank of stories. What feels ordinary to your kid is often extraordinary to someone else, but only if they notice it. So I ask students to walk into a normal weekend with a little intention and leave with one or two specific moments they can share later.

  • Scared of public speaking? Scale it down to one person

    0:58 · Oct 23, 2026

I asked two Georgia Tech students what's holding them back, and the answer was honest. “I'm scared.” About ten seconds later they were talking to a stranger with a microphone in the middle of campus, which is public speaking. Their advice for middle schoolers was really good, too.

Homeschool mom Lindsay Hume shared a parenting lesson on Office Hours that stuck with me. Right after a kid comes off the stage and asks how it went, she has learned to skip the critique and simply encourage. The coach can handle the refining later, because that trust is already built.

  • Every time you speak, you send three messages

    1:36 · Oct 22, 2026

This might be my favorite answer of the day. A Georgia Tech student told me he's actually a quiet person, but he doesn't get stage fright, and when someone criticizes him he takes the note and acts on it. Then he shared a line he'd heard somewhere.

  • Most kids groan at the idea of role play, so I shared a better game for the dinner table.

    2:03 · Oct 22, 2026

Most kids groan at the idea of role play, so I shared a better game for the dinner table. Fill a fishbowl with topics. Everyone takes a turn drawing one cold and talking for as long as they can without an “um” or “uh.”

  • Jennifer Berman said something on Office Hours this week that I want every parent to hear.

    0:42 · Oct 21, 2026

Jennifer Berman said something on Office Hours this week that I want every parent to hear. When a kid finally understands how the process works, most of the fear goes away. Fear of speaking is usually fear of the unknown. Nobody has shown them where to start, what comes next, or what a good first step looks like.

  • What Georgia Tech Students Think About Public Speaking | Man on the Street

    21:09 · Oct 20, 2026

I went to the Georgia Tech campus and asked students a few simple questions. What makes a great public speaker, what's holding you back, and what would you tell your younger self?

  • Don't fake it till you make it. Practice anyway.

    0:47 · Oct 19, 2026

Great name, by the way. I'm not biased at all. What I love here is that he puts himself out there before anyone would call him a polished speaker. Faking it till you make it isn't the move. Put yourself in positions where you have to speak, even when you don't feel ready, and let the reps build the confidence.
